Tariff Update: New Pricing Structure

We have always promised to keep you informed with full transparency, and today we want to share the “why” behind an important change.

After months of holding the line on pricing despite growing external pressures, we must now introduce price adjustment on our products at a minimum level.

Here’s why:

Tariffs Affect Everyone

Tariffs are government-imposed taxes on goods imported from other countries. Unfortunately, when these tariffs are raised, the cost isn’t just absorbed at the border — it ripples through every stage of the supply chain:

💲 Material Costs Rise: Our suppliers for boxes, packaging and operational vendors pay more for raw materials and components, increasing the price of everything we source.
💲 Production Costs Climb: Our factory partners must adjust pricing to cover these upstream increases, passing their tariff-related expenses to us.
💲 Shipping & Handling Go Up: International transport becomes more expensive, both because of tariffs and related regulatory fees.
💲 Cascading Impact: Even small percentage increases compound across each stage, making it unsustainable for us to absorb the full burden without adjustments.

In summary, it means even if we manufactured every component and source everything from the US suppliers, we will still be affected. Tariffs affect everyone.

We have worked hard over the past months to shield you from these rising costs, taking hits internally rather than passing them on. But at this point, continuing to absorb the full impact would compromise the sustainability of our operations and our ability to keep delivering the high-quality products you expect.

Pricing Changes

While we’ve managed to hold off on any pricing changes for months, we knew that it would not be sustainable in the long run. The reality is: these changes are real and we need to make some adjustments if the tariff stays on (even at 30%). So our team has committed to keep our product prices where they are until the June 8th.

Here are the upcoming adjustments:

What's changing - And what's not

We are limiting the price increase to the absolute minimum — on Pickleball One Paddle, Walkabout Grip-to-Putter 3, and Walkabout Friends — effective June 9th. We want to be crystal clear: this adjustment only partially offsets the increased costs we’re facing. We are still absorbing as much as possible ourselves.

And importantly: this is a temporary measure. If and when tariffs ease, and if material and supply costs stabilize, we will immediately revisit our pricing and pass any savings back to you.

While we would love for everyone's support on the products, we would never force you to purchase something under pressure.

Shipping Delays

The good news? The tariff situation has started to improve with the 90 day pause, and we’re hopeful this means more stability in the months ahead. That said, we are still experiencing some shipment delays as a result from disruption in material sourcing and inventory flow, which affected delivery times on recent orders. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are working closely with our partners to get things moving as quickly and smoothly as possible.

Lead Time vs. Processing Time vs. Shipping Time

We understand the confusion when you have to wait a bit longer after paying priority/expediated shipping rate. We want to clarify that Lead Time refers to the total time from when an order is placed to when it is delivered to the customer, encompassing all stages of the process, including order processing, preparation, assembly, packing and transit. Processing Time refers to the time it takes to receive, verify, and prepare the order for shipment if all components are available*. Shipping time, on the other hand, specifically refers to the time it takes for an item to travel from the seller's location to the buyer's address after it's shipped. (This is the shipping cost you pay for)

*The tariff affects the Processing Time the most because it slowed/blocked our shipments of inventory, materials and components. This resulted delays in assembly final assembly and production in the US.

The Future Ahead

More importantly, if the improving conditions allow us to lower our costs again, we’re fully committed to passing those savings directly back to you. Thank you for your continued support, patience, and understanding. You’re not just customers — you’re the reason we do what we do, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have you on this journey with us.

At that point, we will provide additional update. Please rest assured that we will continue doing everything we can to keep our products as accessible and fairly priced as possible.

With warmth and gratitude,

FormX Design Team
