When we set out to redesign the Grip-to-Putter™ , we knew we had to start from the beginning again. In order to craft something that is genuinely new, we had to disconnect from the past and rethink the design direction.

 

 

The Aesthetics of Grip to Putter 3™

There are so many exciting DLC courses every year, so we want to leverage the putter design to capture the in-game vibe.  This sets us on a new journey to discover and define what the next-gen putter could look like.

 

"We understand the Walkabout community has an appetite for something new."

We asked ourselves: "What is it about the putter that keeps people coming back?" We believe there is an emotional connection between a beloved title and something tangible that could allow the players to relive those memories, perhaps one related to a perfect putt.

 

 

The GlideLock™

The Grip-to-Putter 3 was designed with the goal to upgrade the functionality and improving the ergonomics overall. The GlideLock™ system allows players to securely lock their controllers in with a flick of the thumb. It's like the putter becomes the extension of your hand.

 

 

The Details

Redesigning isn't just about change, it's about enhancing what people already love. The weight, the balance, and the sweet spot. It's all a part of the magic.

We want to take the experience that people know very well, and actually add to it, making it more enjoyable. There are details here that most people will never notice, but they'll feel them when they use it. Like the responsive spring in the lever.

Every part of the putter makes a contribution that directly benefits the players. By optimizing the physical design to enhance the in-game feature, the result is a truly unified experience. We see Grip-to-Putter 3 as more than just a milestone. It signals the start of a new chapter, and in many ways, a new beginning.
